Drug and Alcohol Policy

Tradepower is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and productive work environment for all employees. The use of drugs and alcohol can impair judgment, coordination, and performance, posing serious risks to workplace safety and productivity. This Drug and Alcohol Policy outlines our commitment to promoting a drug-free workplace and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Establish guidelines and procedures regarding the use, possession, and distribution of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of employees, customers, visitors, and the public.

  • Provide support and resources for employees who may be struggling with substance abuse issues.

  • Clearly communicate expectations regarding acceptable behaviour and consequences for violations of this policy.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, vendors, visitors, and anyone else present on Tradepower premises or engaged in company-related activities. It encompasses all areas of operations, including offices, facilities, job sites, vehicles, and events.
